"We all have a responsibility to find ways to continuously grow and expand, this is how we become better as spiritual beings living the human experience."
WHAT'S KEEPING YOU BUSY?
--
Although a yoga teacher, I consider myself foremost and always, a student of life. So, when I’m not on the mat I turn to books dedicated to wellness, healing and transformation. I think we all have a responsibility to find ways to continuously grow and expand, this is how we become better as spiritual beings living the human experience.
I’m currently working on a wellness project dedicated to women on healing and reconnecting to our divine feminine center, the sacral chakra, also known as the womb. For more info visit @flowfilling (on Instagram) to join the movement! HOW ARE YOU A CHANGEMAKER?
--
I think “change” begins with ourselves. When we can begin to heal ourselves, then we can heal the world.
WHAT OBSTACLES ARE YOU PROUD TO HAVE OVERCOME?
-- I feel like I’m always overcoming obstacles, which to me, are more like opportunities for growth. Something I’m always working on is cultivating more self-love. This also means learning to forgive yourself and letting go of habitual thought patterns that no longer serve you. And it is a lifelong practice, the act of self-love, that requires devotion, commitment, and discipline. It is learning to honor and respect our bodies, having healthy boundaries- yet also having the courage to be open and vulnerable to change.
WHAT'S THE BEST ADVICE YOU'VE EVER TAKEN?
-- Having the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and wisdom to know the difference :)
WHO ARE YOUR BIGGEST SUPPORTERS?
-- My biggest supporters are from far and wide, and are the ones who inspire and encourage me to be my best self. Some of these people I haven’t met personally, but connect with them on so many levels! From these beautiful people, I formed my soul tribe.
